Standard delivery, collection, hire and set-up are included in every price on our site. A few situations carry a small additional fee, so there are no surprises: delivery or collection windows under 3 hours, night-time delivery or collection, same-day collection, and setup at venues that are upstairs or above 1m in height. We accept bookings at any time, including last-minute, right up to your hire date. Bookings made within 3 days of your event carry a $75 last-minute booking fee. That said, all items are subject to availability, and popular letters, numbers and packages can sell out well in advance — so while last-minute hire is possible, we strongly recommend booking as early as you can to guarantee your items. We deliver and set up everything for you — it’s a set-and-forget service, so there’s no self-collection option and nothing for you to return afterwards. Our team delivers your light up letters or numbers, sets them up at your venue, and collects them again once your hire period ends. All you need to do is enjoy your event.
We deliver throughout the Perth metropolitan area, and beyond up to 500km. Delivery fees will apply for distances beyond a 35km radius of the Perth CBD at a rate of $5.5/km. Furthermore, certain venues and areas within the Perth metro area may include additional delivery fees. These rates are applied automatically when hire details are filled out on either our hire range page or individual product pages.
If a hired item is damaged during your event due to misuse or an accident (for example, by a guest), you may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repair or, if needed, replacement — normal wear and tear is never charged. To take the worry out of this, we offer optional damage cover insurance at the time of booking, which covers you for exactly this. If anything happens to your hired items, just let us know as soon as possible so we can sort it out.
Our letters can be used both indoors and outdoors. They’re not specifically waterproof, though — while a bit of rain won’t ruin them, we can’t guarantee they won’t trip out electrically if they get wet, the same as any electrical item exposed to moisture.
Simply count the letters and numbers in your word or phrase — spaces don’t count. For example, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” is 12 characters. Our per-letter price drops the more you need: $90 each for 1–3 letters, down to as low as $60 each for 19–25 characters. Booking is simple: head to our hire range, enter your hire details, browse by category, and select your product. Choose your combination, style and size on the product page, then add to cart and check out — any applicable surcharges are calculated automatically before you pay. Pay by card or request an invoice for bank transfer. That’s it — set and forget. We’ll reach out directly if we need any further details before your event.
We accept both card and bank transfer. Pay by card directly at checkout, or use the bank transfer details on your booking confirmation or confirmation email. An invoice can also be provided on request.
Yes — a $100 deposit is accepted by bank transfer on bookings made at least 2.5 weeks before your hire date, selectable at checkout. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit is paid, and the remaining balance is due two weeks before your hire date.
You can receive your full refund if cancelled 7+ days before your hire date; cancelling within 3 to 6 days will get you a 50% refund; cancelling within 48 hours of your event is non-refundable. Full payment is required two weeks before your event date regardless of cancellation terms.
Most of our light up letters, numbers and symbols stand 1.2m tall. Smaller items have their exact dimensions listed in the product title or description. Width varies by character — generally 75cm–1m in length and around 20cm wide. For exact dimensions on your specific order, contact us.
Our letters run on a standard 220-240v plug — just one power point needed. Ideally your power source should be within 25m of the setup location; if it’s further, we can supply a generator for an additional charge, scaled to the size of your setup. Yes. All electrical components are tested and tagged by certified members of our team and comply with AUS/NZ electrical safety standards (AS/NZS 3760). Our items are for decorative purposes only — climbing, leaning or sitting on any hired item is prohibited and may cause damage or injury, with the hiring customer liable for any resulting damage. Once set up, letters generally stay in place for the duration of your event; we attach them to wooden boards and use specialised equipment for setup and transport. If you need them moved for any reason, get in touch — depending on the situation, we may either talk you through it or send a team member out for an additional cost. This is assessed case-by-case, so contact us if this applies to you.
