How do I book light up letters, balloons or backdrops?

You can book through our website, by calling us on 0435 599 306 or emailing your booking requirements to hire@staging.litletters.com.au.

What payment methods does Lit Letters accept?

We accept direct transfer primarily. We accept credit card payments upon request with a 1.8% surcharge.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes, if you cancel within 7 days of your booking, we’ll refund 50%. If you cancel within 48 hours, there will be no refund. Full payment will be required two weeks before the event date. 

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally, we need a week’s notice – however, we will accept last minute bookings provided we are able to supply the requested hire items.

Where does Lit Letters deliver to?

We deliver throughout Perth, up to 35kms North and South from Perth CBD, and 25kms East of Perth CBD. However, fees will apply at our discretion beyond our delivery radius and for some venues within our delivery zone. For deliveries to the South West, a minimum fee of $1200 will apply. 

Do you take custom orders?

We do, on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch with us to discuss the specifics and allow at least 10 working days.

Where is Lit Letters located?

Welshpool, Perth, Western Australia.

Does your pricing include the delivery and set-up?

Yes, our final quoted price to you will include delivery and set up. We make this clear in our quotes.

How are the light up letters powered? Do they need to be near a power source/plug point?

Our light up letters are powered by 220v. Ideally they should be close to a plug point (less than 25m away), but we can supply a generator on request. There will be an extra charge for a generator depending on how many letters you hire. The bigger the set up, the bigger the generator needed. If you are unsure if we will be able to reach your power source from your desired set up location, just ask.

Can the letters go outside? Are they waterproof?

The letters can be used indoors or outdoors – please note however that they are not specifically waterproof. Although we don’t mind if they get wet (rain happens, even on wedding days!), we can’t guarantee that they won’t trip out in the wet, just like any other electrical item may do.

Can I move the light up letters?

No. Once they have been set up, that’s where they stay, unless approved by Lit Letters.

Do you have numbers as well?

Yes we do! We have a full range of numbers in both Classic White and Rustic. Anything you want to say, we’ll light it up!

Are the letters compliant with electrical standards?

All electrical components have been tested, tagged, and are compliant with AUS/NZD electrical Safety standards as outlined by as/nzs 3760 for 240v electrical appliances. 

Are there guidelines for use of the letters?

Use of the letters are for decorative purposes only. Do not climb, lean, or sit on them – Injury may occur.
